Today is a really happy day! The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment has just awarded Castillo de Canena as the best International food business of Spain. It is the largest prize for agri-food awarded by the Spanish State.
We want to thank each of you, each of our importers. Thank you for make possible Castillo de Canena´s project, thank you for being our face, our eyes and our hands in each one of the 42 countries where we are working. This award is for all of you.
According to the Ministry:
"Castillo de Canena shows a solid, dynamic and well-structuredexport strategy, with proper selection of target countries, a positive evolution of exports andinvestments abroad. Also, a commitment to export a quality product, which contributes to improve the image of Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil abroad. In addition, Castillo de Canena makes a good job in all areas, from product development to sales, highlighting the excellence and success in their marketing strategy. The jury also noted Castillo de Canena's strong dedication of collaboration with other companies, both their own sector and others."
